Found a real gem in the basement the other day - the Sony CD Mavica! It's huge! The photos have 2.1 megapixels! It has 6x digital zoom!
And it has CD storage! It's the future of technology!
Putting aside how quintessentially 2000s this all is (and I think that's great), the design is really clever. It's very streamlined for having a CD reader crammed in there.
The battery and power cable are still in the picture (after a long matching game with all the other proprietary batteries and power cables for other cameras that we have), and the battery is somehow still functional, so I took some pictures of my dog with it. This was the only one where she wasn't moving.
